For the sixth consecutive year, the 10 kilometer pavement and sand race captured the attention of the whole country, the winner in men’s category was Alfredo Rexon Pirrir with an impressive time of 25:52 while the woman category was won by Cristina Marín with a time of 32:52 minutes.

The volume of garbage that was generated was impressive so a lot of Jaco residents contributed with the cleanup of the beach and the streets.
